Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Outgoing, friendly personality with great communication skills.
• Ability to travel to local events in Sarasota County and Charlotte County, primarily within the Venice area.
• Reliable and professional demeanor.

What You’ll Do

• Engage with potential customers at local events and trade shows.
• Share general information about our premium cooling, heating and plumbing services.
• Hand out flyers, coupons, and other promotional materials.
• Help build brand awareness and positive community relationships.
• Be a friendly face for the Venice Cooling and Plumbing brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues, identifying root causes of leaks, clogs, and system inefficiencies through comprehensive troubleshooting.
• Provide clear, professional recommendations to customers for improving or repairing their plumbing systems, ensuring solutions align with their needs and budgets.
• Perform repairs on plumbing systems, addressing issues with fixtures, piping, and related components with precision and care.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining diagnoses and recommended solutions in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of diagnostic findings and completed repairs.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of service calls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a plumber in a residential setting.
• Valid plumbing license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, diagnostic techniques, and repair processes.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Physical capability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

• Lead installation teams on residential HVAC projects.
• Install HVAC units, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and related components according to codes and company standards.
• Train, mentor, and oversee installers and apprentices.
• Communicate effectively with managers, customers, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and job site protocols.
